I am now on the Holiday Planning Team at work. And it's absolutely no different than the Party Planning Committee on "The Office."

My camera is "crapping out," so these were all I could savage. Best Buy is my money for a new point and shoot camera really soon.

On Sunday I took the opportunity to crash the last day of recording for Common Market's new "Tobacco Road" album. From what I heard, this soulful hiphop album will be an instant classic.

Highlights of the day:

• Ra Scion writing a verse and hook for a song on the spot.
• A group sing-a-long of "Umbrella" with Geo of the Blue Scholars playing guitar.
• Sabzi killing the piano on an outro for the album's title track.
