Today, I have a dentist appointment for a cleaning.
It's the one day when I actually brush my teeth after every meal or snack and actually floss - although I tell the dental hygienist otherwise. Of course, I brush my teeth every morning and every night, but that just doesn't seem good enough on appointment day. The expectations are high.
I feel like I'm cramming for a mid-term here - doing any last minute thing I can to improve my score. I'm off. Wish me luck.
*Update: No cavities. Clean bill of health.

I'm picking up some extra hours at work today and covering part of a shift for a collegue who is out sick. All I have to say is that I strongly advise against starting work at 5 a.m. I believe waking up for work at 4 a.m. falls somewhere under the definition of "cruel and unusual punishment."
Whatcom Transit Authority now offers "GO Lines," servicing WTA's four highest-ridership routes every 15 minutes. The GO Line bus routes and buses are identified by color: blue, green, gold and red.
This makes me wonder: How will color blind people be able to know which bus to catch? I believe WTA forgot to study a certain demographic before launching this campaign.
