4.0 is a perfect number

Despite the circumstances of a tough class, buying a home and the usual 9 to 5, I persevered and earned another A this quarter! Yay!

This keeps my cumulative GPA at a steady 4.0.

A wise man once said, "The only thing better than excellence is perfection."

That wise man is me.

W(ho)TF is on WIB?...Al

I've learned through some recent reader feedback that you all want to know more about other readers on the blog, if that makes sense. So, I'm turning the spotlight off of me (yes, believe it).

This inaugural post of the "W(ho)TF is on WIB?" is all about the CastleMonkey himself, the master of programming, the salt and the lime in your margarita... Al.

Name/alias: Al Castle - I usually leave blog comments as Smug Monkey and go by CastleMonkey on many chat services.

You can fin
d me online at: Everything you want to know about me can be found on my PeoplePond page. http://www.peoplepond.com/AlCastle

I know Paolo fro
m: Paolo and I originally met in 2004(?) where he worked as an editor for PRWeb and I was hired on as the chief information officer. The close knit family of the PRWeb staff had us often in the same room where our similar sense of humor had at least us laughing.

One other blog everyone should read is: Flipflops In The Rain - She's entertaining, sometimes posts great art, creative and an engaging writer.

One movie everyone should see is: The Princess Bride, it has a little bit of everything.

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be: Italian. It's more diverse than Mexican food and I don't eat enough of the good stuff.

My guiltiest pleasure is:

And watching cartoons, preferably anything I watched as a kid.

It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm: Unfortunately, I work nearly constantly. Occasionally I'll head over to my parents and have breakfast with them.

When I die, I believe I will go: About six feet into the earth and become worm food. I think I want a tree planted above my body instead of just rotting. Energy just continues to take different forms, so the energy that I encompass will go on and become grass, bugs, other people, etc. As to my "spirit" or essence I'm hoping that I can haunt that crap out of everyone on my list.

When I was a kid, I actually owned: The original Transformers. Like all of them. (And I still have them, in my garage.)

Quickfire Round:

Facebook or Twitter? Twitter
Electric or Acoustic? Acoustic
White Meat
or Dark Meat? White Meat
Early Bird
or Night Owl? Night (Al.)
Snorer or Sleeptalker? Snorer
Black or Cream and Sugar? Lots of cream even more sugar
Seattle or San Francisco? San Francisco
Casket or Cremation? Undecided, maybe both.
Jennifer or Angelina? Angelina

Lastly, everyone should know that I: I tease my friends constantly and my facial expressions fail to represent my actual mental process which continues to confuse even my closest of friends.

Unmarked intersection + bus = Boo

On Saturday morning, Amanda got into a car accident. Actually, more like a bus accident.

She was driving her VW wagon a few blocks away from our house when she entered an unmarked intersection. She had the right of way, but a city bus decided not to yield and slammed into her driver's side front panel. She went to the hospital via ambulance and checked out of the ER after a couple hours with some painkillers and advice to rest for the next couple days.

Don't worry. Her shoulder is a little banged up, but otherwise she's A-OK. Just wanted to provide an update here for those who may have heard through the grapevine.
