Forget partying in Vancouver, B.C. this summer.

The AP reports that the Canadian dollar traded for 94 cents for the first time in 30 years today. That's just loonie (really bad pun).

Compare that to my glory days at Western in 2002 when the Canadian dollar traded at an all-time low 61 cents. Let's just say I spent some American dollars at the bars as a 19-year-old during the Canucks' 2002 playoff run.

Sergio, I only hope that the U.S. dollar picks up by the time you head up to the 98225 so that you can enjoy the same luxuries north of the border that I did.
