Here's a sad story...

I'm going to San Francisco next week for work, so I figure I'd run an errand while I was down there and, you know, get my Italian citizenship.

I've been working with Dad to get my paperwork together and sent an email last week to the consulate office to schedule an appointment.

I received an email back that said the office is booked for citizenship appointments through DECEMBER 2009. Boo.

So much for my attempt to represent the Azzurri in downhill skiing in Vancouver in 2010.
